From November 7, 2016:
Ok so transfers – we got the call on Friday. First off you should know that most missionaries don’t want to get a call on Friday because those are leadership calls. We went all of Friday without a call and then that night around 9:15 I was sitting on the couch with the phone by me when it started ringing. Turns out I am going to Springfield to finish training a new missionary. I am really nervous… and the way it works out we have to finish her last six weeks in five because this next transfer will be cut a week short. I honestly feel like I cannot do it. I know it is hard because right in the beginning of your mission you have totally different companions who do things totally different and it can be hard. And I know the sister that started training her, she is very sweet. She is a very quiet sister. I know that sounds a lot like me but I think you might be surprised how much I have changed when I come home. I know that with every companion it takes adjusting and I know that was hard for me the first time. I have felt sick all weekend because I am a little stressed about it. I am just praying this is all going to work out.
We have to get going but I love you!

This week has been…. interesting. It started off with a bang. Literally. Someone backed into our car. On Monday night we went to visit a less active member at her video store. We were sitting in the car looking up information on our iPads when we felt the car move. We looked up and saw a truck that had backed into us. We got out and spent the next hour filling out paperwork; luckily the man was cooperative. Unfortunately our car looks a little bit sad now and we will be without a car for a couple of days. After we finished all of the paperwork we asked them if they had ever heard of the Book of Mormon. They were not so open to that and continued to tell us reasons why they felt it was not true. Just goes to show that not everyone is prepared to hear the gospel! To say the least we have spend a lot of hours dealing with the little accident this week! We also had to move Karl’s baptism back a week. Unfortunately this one was kind of our fault… we thought that he was understanding everything and keeping all of his commitments but it turns out we were just doing a terrible job at following up on his commitments so we moved his date. It was a really interesting week! We will be getting transfer news this week – transfers are in a week from today!
Love you and hope you have a great week!!!!
I did my companion’s hair…. never again will I think that I have thick hair!!!
These are screenshots from a video that we took. It was a lot of fun to say the least!

There really has not been a whole lot that has happened since Thursday. We had the primary program in our ward and it was super cute! We had a lot of investigators there and they all said they loved it! Darlene came to church and said that she loved it and would definitely be coming back!
So the lady that was missing part of her face, she had undiagnosed diabetes. The way she explain it was that it made her immune system shut down and she got a fungus in her eye. It just destroyed all of the cells that it to to so that is why she is missing some of her face.
We didn’t take any more pictures this weekend so here are a few more from the temple!!!
